| OT/ Guns and Health | 11 Jul 2008 21:59 GMT | 23 |
I've forgotten which thread the gun wars are continuing in, as I stopped reading those. But for those involved, this may interest you from today's New England Journal of Medecine.

| Doctor visit | 11 Jul 2008 20:01 GMT | 5 |
I had a fairly good visit with my doctor today. She's a D.O. and conservative, but we talked quite a bit today. She said that I've been hovering in the almost diabetes range for a long time now and it's here. I agree with her. I've had up and down FBS readings for years, but they ...

(For those of you playing at home, this is the poster formerly known as A n d y T 2, aka A n d y from Rhode Island... since A n d y has become a bad name to have, I came up with a brilliant, amazing, incredible alias.) So, with my latest labs (A1C still 5.6, LDL 168) and my BP ...

Speaking of comics, I get Calvin & Hobbes delivered daily via email using gocomics.com. You might like it Q. BTW my flucking ISP (Verizon) has dropped the alt. groups from it's supported usenet hierarchy so it may be a bit before I can find the

| Humalog effectiveness change | 10 Jul 2008 01:05 GMT | 6 |
Finally got around to doing the tests. My change in the effect of Humalog has increased by about 20%. It had been stable for about ten years. I have the luxury of being able to calculate doses but recently I have had a tendency to find myself below what I expected.

| Eating what? | 09 Jul 2008 21:56 GMT | 2 |
The div------ thread seems toindicate some are eatng all but the kitchen sink knob. It seems to me that the most effective thing a T2 can do is to be careful with eating. The posts are very clear on these issues. The legit conflicts are on the details.
