My wife's "pre-diabetic" diagnosis is currently being investigated by testing. She is using the Accu-Check Aviva meter, because that is what she was given. There is software available, but is meter specific and requires a PC

I am on Humalog 75/25 insulin. Because my sugar hasn't had the control I want,my dr. doubled it. I take 37mg before breakfast and 27 mg before supper. It didn't occur to me that the price would double...duh! I got a bill

I am offered things, almost daily, that I shouldn't eat. If I say I'm diabetic, its, "Oh yeah, I am too" ( or my brother, mom, sister, uncle, etc.). Still none of them seem to be doing anything about it. I think diabetes is just popular.
