Can you tell me why dieticians and diabetes educators are so against lo carb eating? When i was in hospital for 3 weeks whilst pregnant i was on a diabetic diet and the food i got was lots of grains and fruit, yogurt and pastas and my evening snack was a tray of sandwiches. I ...

I got that book about insulin and in it, it states that Lantus is unique in that it's the only insulin that requires you to keep out of heat. Says no hot showers, baths or hot tubs because heat can cause it to rush to the surface giving you a potentially fatal hypo. Oh joy!
