Manual vs. Auto Neuropathy?!?25 Dec 2007 16:58 GMT1
My feet are feeling better. My 5-speed manual VW gti which I've been driving
for almost 10 years is in the shop and I've been driving a loaner automatic,
where my feet have nothing to do constantly.
I wonder if all that footwork with cheap-o shoes have something to do with

Has anyone used it? I just got a script for it today, and am giving it

Today's question of the day.25 Dec 2007 05:46 GMT22
Is there a surefire way to use alternate test sites that would be on a par
with finger pricking?
My fingers are starting to show signs of wear. Nothing to do with pain and
the pricks virtually seal instantly.

Hoping someone could explain something to me.  I'm a newly diagnosed
Type II.  So new that I only took my medication (Metfromin) for one
day.  The next day (yesterday) I forgot to take my meds.  This morning
I woke up and my fasting Glucose was 116.  I took one of our dogs for
Update 2 on husband25 Dec 2007 04:51 GMT16
He was unable to do so much as stand up today and now they are saying it
might be Monday and not Sunday when they release him.  We are kind of hoping
they keep him in there for Xmas.  I know most people want to be home with
their families on Xmas but he is not one of them.  He ...
Diabetics & Superfoods25 Dec 2007 04:16 GMT3
One particular juice product (classified & approved as food)  from USA
made from Acai berry, Cupuasu fruit & Yerba Mate leaf was introduced
recently in Malaysia (1st in Asia/Pacific). It's good for  general
well being including diabetes patients.

As I have drastically reigned in my portion sizes, (with the odd
faliure), I have noticed that even slightly exceeding what is my new
norm, leaves me feeling bloated and uncomfortable.  My stomache must be
shrinking!

I'm newly diagnosed as type II.  I picked up my medications today.  On
the bottle for Metformin it states, "Carry or Wear Medical
Identification Stating you are taking his Medicine."
Question is what do folks do?  I don't know any paramedics.  Don't
vitamin B124 Dec 2007 10:24 GMT4
I see there are suggestions that vitamin B1 may help avoid neuropathy &
retinopathy. Also that the normal blood test for B1 is not accurate. My

not easily absorbed ?
