Update on my suspected neuropathy19 Dec 2007 13:40 GMT25
Well guys and gals - remember a while back I mentioned sharp pain in big toe
and the odd throbbing sensation in my plantar of the left foot??
Many of you responded with the idea that, due to my radical change in diet
and exercise on dx, that it is possibly sensation coming back ...
Liver dumps? Real or imagined?19 Dec 2007 13:23 GMT78
Doesn't seem to be a day that goes by without someone talking about
liver dumps.  It's getting to the point where I visualize lots and
lots of people's livers looking like lawn sprinklers with all the
dumping going on.  I did a google search on the term and found mostly
That's a first.19 Dec 2007 11:48 GMT28
That's a first.
My premeal BG was 111. After 8oz. buffalo filet mignon, 1 hour test my BG is
103.
Since testing, it's always been higher after eating, never less.
Extended CDC Quarantine Powers for Pan-Flu by Executive Order.19 Dec 2007 10:57 GMT18
Why is this Executive Order important now?
The avian (bird) influenza virus in Asia (H5N1) does not usually
infect humans. In 1997, however, the first case of spread from a bird
to a human was seen during an outbreak of bird flu in poultry in Hong

Considering an insulin pump19 Dec 2007 03:58 GMT9
My wonderful GP has managed to get me in with an Endo this week (I was
told there was a 1 year waiting period).  Both doctors are very pro
pump while I am pregnant and dependent on insulin.  I am seriously
considering it.
Does Food Poisoning Cause BG Spike?19 Dec 2007 00:01 GMT10
I believe I ate some spoiled fish and several hours later started
having diarhea and vomiting. I tested ny bg and the level was about
170 which seldom happens to me. Is food poisoning associated with a bg
spike?
Monday Grill - This ain't Florida..?18 Dec 2007 21:44 GMT11
Jeez... I'm gonna freeze my tookus off tonight (is that how you spell
"tookus?). But, Monday night is Monday night - and Monday night is grill
night. I will not be deterred by a little yankee weather.... yankees would
be, but we true Floridians ain't. Also, there's a plus side. ...
Ping: Andy<q> Nutrition and Diet at a Glance18 Dec 2007 21:23 GMT3
Say, Andy.  I saw in another post that you had some neat-o software
for analyzing the nutrition in your daily food menu.  I've been
looking for a program (or online calculator) to do this.  Could you
tell me what the name of the program is and where I could get it?

Hi Nicky
Just want to update you!  Somehow Heather Bater emailed the "owner" of
a chat room on Newnet that I am a mod in.  She couldn't get into chat.
From her email (which the owner of the chat room forwarded to me) I

I visit this newsgroup once or twice a week and have obtained some very good
advice and tips from the kind people who use it.
In the last few months I have noticed that a great number of the messages
are from an Andrew B Chung from the USA (?) and these seem to be mostly

The earlier report on possible changes in direction for the

optimistic.
