I'm a fairly recent T2 diagnosee, and I've developed peeling and splitting skin on my hands, especially on the tips of my fingers. Is this a diabetes thing?

I am locked into Freestyle meter and strips by insurance, but I suppose I can afford to pay for any lancets I choose. So, if you have used lancing systems from several companies, whose hurts the least? :-)

Howdy folks ... I was one of the many on this group that signed up for one of them free skinny ultra ( I think ) meters with the 4 color choices. anyone get theirs yet ? Still waiting here.

Well guys and gals - those familiar with my dx dramas should know that I saw the new doctor today (the one who *has an interest* in diabetes). He knew his stuff compared to the diabetic nurse anyway! But he talked at 90 miles per hour!!
