I have had some trouble with my last couple of boxes of strips. I have
been having to reseat them several times in the meter. I was just
wondering if anyone else was having a problem like this.
O yeah, same problem in twodifferent meters.

Ran across a site that gives a short explanation as to what some of the meds
we take do and how they do it (bottom of page). Nothing "in depth" but at
least gives the difference in them.

I am very early stage type II. Age 59. Without any meds, but with diet
and exercise I have a a1c of   5.8. Morning fasting is in the 78 to 93
range...typically 82 or 83. OGGT test confirms type II...with 225
after 2 hours and 75mg glucose. Never been above 100 on A.M. fasting

My doctor gave me a diagnosis of t2 diabetes.  The second call back
for blood work had an insulin level included.  The lower and upper
limits for other results were given like A1c, cholesterol,
triglycerides, so on.  But no range was given for insulin.

Now my BP seems lower still.  Keep getting dizzy.  It is hovering around
80/63.  At least it seems more proportional.

on Internet explorer and did a search on   Diabetic Tests.
There are many good hits.   So much

For a long while now Metformin has seemed *not* to make me fart.
But recently (for a while) I stopped taking my usual Actimel, a sort of yoghurt.
I was taking ordinary yoghurt.
