The article about it is highly technical, but a new drug has prevented & partially reversed type 2 diabetes & artheriosclerosis in mice. It also reduces the triglyceride levels. It's a start, & *may* replace or prevent the need for insulin

This a readable on an increasing problem. It points the dangers of eating unheated produce. We no longer get produce from Grandmas garden. The use of transient workers does increase the problem. In over 70 ears I never heard of this problem. But now I know.
