Initial Drug Of Choice Metformin/Actos ???29 Jun 2007 15:18 GMT8
My understanding is that while the initial T2 'problem' is primarily
insulin resistance, that is not the primary focus of Metformin, while

Cinnamon question29 Jun 2007 08:41 GMT5
I've noticed lately that whenever a reading is high (over 140) it's after a
meal that included a tsp or so of cinnamon.  I thought cinnamon was
supposed to *lower* your sugar, not raise it.  Has anybody else had this
reaction?

Ok , Ok, .... I tried, I held back, I really hesitated...
Nevertheless, there are some things I cannot keep back, when the fires
of enthusiasm for art and music are kindled.

Can't remember the name of this website.
Saw it a couple of years ago.  Showed

the positioning said something about the links.

If the UFO people landed here they would not believe our situation

Part of it may be the old game of reducing or controlling
critics of the industry.
keeping strips cool while camping29 Jun 2007 03:34 GMT19
My family and I go to camp every summer and this will
be my first time travelling with diabetes.  I'm not sure
how to keep my testing strips cool, the cabins get pretty
hot during the day.  Any suggestions?
cancer29 Jun 2007 02:50 GMT8
I found a web site about new (not alternative) cancer treatments with
very strange claims. They ask money for the information. I need good
information, bit I'm reluctant to waste good money. The address:

Cinnamon problem29 Jun 2007 01:37 GMT2
I suspected that cinnamon was raising my blood sugar, because a couple of
times that seemed to be the only difference between a meal that spiked me
and one that didn't.  I use a lot of cinnamon, in lots of dishes, so it
was important to me to know how it affects me.
