I finally got my Endo to send all my labs to my PCP and he is not very
pleased. Neither am I either :-)
I had an appt for this past Wed but my PCP's staff called and cancelled
until this coming Wed. When I asked what he was concerned about she said

I suspect that I have double diabetes of LADA and type II.  Can you
please tell me any info you have about what tests would show whether I
have LADA or not.  I have an appointment with an endocrinologist on
the 18th, and I would like to discuss this with him then, and it would

  Have been taking Metformin Extended release 2000 mg/day
for more than an year. The diarhhea I used to have got in control
about a month after starting Metfomin, but I still have a lot of
gas even after a year, so much that it's affecting my daily life.

I am going to see an endocrinologist on the 18th.  I am interested in
taking either Byetta or Symlin because they both appear to cause
weight loss, and I really want the help losing weight.  Good BS
control is always important too, but I already get that with Metformin
