My pump has pooped out. No Prime messages. I've decided to go on the pin for the weekend 'cause I have to work. The wheels are already in motion for a replacement. I took my first shot of long acting insulin (UL, Exp. Nov.06) in 3 1/2 years this morning.

Has anyone had success with a High Carb Low Fat plant based diet. There's alot of research showing this works, but almost everything I read of real people in the real world practice just the opposite.(low carb higher fat with a fair amount of meat)

I am so proud of Jim; his A1c is his lowest, since the doctors started testing it about 9 or 10 years ago; 5.8. Additionally his chol 139,( his highest ever 600) trig 82 (his high 2000+), HDL 45, LDL 78, chol/HDL ratio 3.1 are also the best ever.
