For the last two years, I've been on 3 g Metformin/day - taken as 1 g
in the morning, 1 g at noon, and 1 g at dinner. BG still stubbornly in

Oh, well, I knew the day would come... groan... the treadmill is coming.

I want to find out if anyone's neuropathy feels like what my feet feel
like.  The thing is I have had horrible foot problems all my life, and
I think my foot pain is due to my feet being orthopedically very wrong

I take Gliclazide & Metformin for type 2 diabetes.
At my last GP diabetic clinic in March my six week levels were 7.4
I don't normally take regular readings but over the last 2/3 weeks I have
had a raging thirst & decided to test myself & now find that my readings

I have been using an Accu-Chek Active meter which measures whole
blood. My insurance has switched me to a One Touch Ultra which
measures plasma. When people say the upper limit you want is 140 (USA)
is that whole blood or plasma?

Getting concerned, but trying not to panic yet.  Having fluid retention -
but not severe enough to call the doctor, but leg/feet aches with added
