OK three meals I have eaten lately and Kim Chee was a large part of it
Meal was very low in carbs and every time my BG was lower after I ate. I
know this is far from scientic data collection but I have never measured my
BG to be lower after eating before.

I am 7 months post renal X-plant.  So far things have been fine
with the exception of the med-induced diabetes.  But overall I have
been doing well and until recently I thought I had the diabetes under
control.

Does anyone know if exchange lists/values are still a recommended way
to address type II diabetes, or is carb counting (or other
alternatives) becoming considered a better alternative?  In Canada,
they no long seem to advocate exchange lists on the Canadian diabetes

Since I've begun testing, I have noticed that my bg spikes more in the
morning, even after a light breakfast, but that the same foods seem to have
less of an effect on my bg later in the day, at lunch, or dinner.
