Semi anual checkup - good, but could be better25 Apr 2007 02:30 GMT17
I had my six month checkup with my doctor Friday. He said it was good.
I said it could be a heck of a lot better (and has been in the past).
My latest A1c was 6.7, which he said is pretty good. I remember a year
or so ago whenever I had the test it was hanging around 6.0. Actually

To users of the Sanofi-Aventis disposable Lantus pen - a warning!24 Apr 2007 17:57 GMT1
Whatever you do, do not attempt to change the dose once you have
pulled out the plunger.
I normally inject 40 iu then inject 10 iu.  Last night I thought,
perhaps I should try two doses of 26 iu, so I adjusted the dose from

3 years it will be metformin + Januvia + Lantus. In 4 years, it will
be metformin + Januvia + Lantus + Galvus + lipitor + a host of other
meds. In 4 years when I take 20 pills per day, I will say bravo I am
Headaches and Meds24 Apr 2007 07:20 GMT10
I have never had headaches (except in my wild days with a hangover).  I have
been on Actos 30 mg a little over a month, and Metformin 500 mg almost a
month.  Just wondering if these could be the culprit.  I know headaches
"could" be a side effect, however I would think that would be ...
Moving to Insulin and worried about it23 Apr 2007 23:21 GMT51
Had a visit at the GP's yesterday ready to move me to insulin. They're
taking me off Gliclazide 60mg modified release and putting me on a one-
per-day long acting insulin to be joined by a three per day short
acting in a few weeks time.

Question for the group23 Apr 2007 18:45 GMT16
Hi guys.  Have a question for you.
