Julie, have you ever heard of Gastrocrom for food allergies? It's a mast cell stabilizer that you take just before meals to prevent allergic food reactions.

Just need a one more simple dinner and menus are done. The only reason I put the menu thing on the site is to show that a diabetic diet doesn't have to be scary - doesn't have to be that big dreaded "DIET" word at all... just decent food for a healthy lifestyle. My doctor left me

I'm currently on Glucovance (Glyburide + Metformin) and I may talk to my doctor about switching to just Metformin. I've read that 1500 mg is kind of like a minimum dosage to get a reasonable benefit in lowering bg.

Where is everybody these days? Anyway my new Doc thinks I need an anti anks medication because I test to often - is this a hoot or what? He says I'm obsessive about testing.

Off tomorrow morning bright and early (5:30 am) for a lithotripsy to hopefully end the kidney stone saga - it's been a rough couple of weeks, but I have been managing the BG fairly well during the period.

This is my first post. I got diagnosed Type 2 about 3 weeks ago. Just saw diabetic educator, and had my first class today with the dietician. I am on Actos 30mg and Metformin 500 mg in the morning. Found out diabetic because developed blurry vision. Have had it about 2 months ...

If u know, pl inform me about any child (1-18 yrs) taking daily 4-5 INJECTIONS due to DIABETES bcoz My 16 yrs ONLY son is taking Daily 5 Injections. Prakash prakashthakrar@yahoo.co.in
