Hello all. I lurk most of the time but I just had to ask...
Doc wanted to put me on Lipitor but I told him due to the possible
side effects I wanted to cut waaaaaaay back on rthe meat and dairy
first. He wanted me to do both but I really didn't want to do this.

I'm taking 3 Glucovance (1.25mg Glyburide, 250mg Metformin) per day. I'm
concerned about the long term affects of the Glyburide particularly since it
is supposed to signal the pancreas to produce insulin.  I've been on this
for about a year, and maintain A1c at between 5.8 and 6 ...
