I have heard that they're about to start rationing strips to T2s (100
strips per annum!!!!!  Yikes, so I have set up a petition to the
Government.  The petition is entitled "T2Diabetes" (not very catchy
but you only get up to 16 letters and no spaces!) and can be found at

O.k., so I haven't eaten real great today. But that's not exactly the
main issue, though maybe my BG wouldn't be quite so high if I had eaten

I had a heart attack.  Related to my Type 2?  I don't know.  But I'm
going to eat better -- including reducing my cholesterol.  Angioplasty
and stents in place in my 100% blocked right coronary artery.  One
more artery to go, partially blocked.

Even the best doctor (and I think my diabetic specialist is wonderful,
at least for ME) can make an error.  I've had a sore on the front of
my right ankle for a couple of years. Reddish patch, occasionally a
weeping sore.  Dr looked at it regularly, wasn't disturbed.  Visiting

Yesterday I bought hand weights and a new pedometer....and went for a
walk.  I walked 2 miles yesterday and 2.5 today.  Both days I started

just got my first hba1c results back. nurse says 5.5 and normal levels
of cholesterol. blood pressure is 130/80 is this good? have been
diagnosed as type1 for 10 months

I now have my crunch machine set up in my livingroom and its connected to
one of the pulleys on my dual pulley machine.
Personally I have feel in love with the way I started working out 4 years
ago.
