I am curently taking Metformin for my T2 diabetes.  I have a friend who is
seeing a doctor every 3 months for diabetes and he is getting Avandamet
which is a combination of metformin and Rosiglitazone.  I have looked up
what Rosiglitazone is but I don't understand the difference ...

Just received my script from G.P. attched note reads " LISPRO has replaced
HUMALOG as it is more cost effective""It is the same as Humalog"
Is this right? not bothered about cost effectiveness as long as Lispro does
the same as Humalog??

Just to let you know that Specsavers in Salford Precinct no longer do
diabetic checks - they don't have room for the retinal camera, apparently.
I rang the diabetic clinic at Hope for advice and they recommended Stotts on
Chorley Road in Swinton.  I have booked an appointment ...

There is aLA, and RLA, and SLA, and RSLA.  There is ALA that is alpha

My husband's diabetes went undiagnosed for many years.
I heard his Dr say he did NOT have diabetes even though I thought he had
symptoms.
(I have diabetes which has been "under control" for many years)

I will cut to the chase.  A friend I havent spoken to for years wrote me
yesterday and said since they took her off prednisone and she lost sixty
pounds, the diabetes is gone.  She said her diabetes was medically
induced.  could this be true.  Is she "cured"

I am on byetta now.  I was taking amaryl early in the mornings to
prevent dawn phenomenon.  I cut down on the amaryl a while ago and in
the last few days I have stopped it completely.
