Had a can of cream of celery soup for lunch.  I knew it would spike
me, so I used 4u novolog.  Figured it would work.  At 1PP, 180

Has anyone had experience drawing insulin out of an Opticlick
cartridge with a syringe. Their web site implies that in a pinch (if
the pen becomes inoperable) it can be done.

QUESTION ON NEW DRUG15 Feb 2007 19:45 GMT1
I've just been prescribed Januvia for my Type 2 diabetes. Has anyone had
any experience with this drug? I am using it with Metformin and Prandin
and I am worried about side-effects or interactions. If  you've used it,
has it helped?

below 120. They have been getting higher, the lowest morning test the
week is 172, this morning it was 197. I tested 2 hours after lunch and

We should just take baby formula through a stomach tube. That's how they

roller coaster blood sugars15 Feb 2007 05:17 GMT3
Hi, I'm kinda new to the group, but I really need to vent.  A couple
of weeks ago I was in the hospital for four days.  My bloodsugars
skyrocketed, and I had abdominal pain and was throwing up.  They did a
CT Scan, an ultrasound, an upper endoscopy and a small bowel follow
Can fasting lower blood glucose levels?15 Feb 2007 02:24 GMT50
Noob question.

level? Is there a point where glucose will no longer be excreted in the
urine? Does BG come from any other source other than food?

Can a minor hear attack reduce insulin production in t2 diabetics?14 Feb 2007 04:38 GMT5
My 70 year old sister has type-2 diabetes.  She  controlled her blood sugar by
medications and diet.  Her A1c was usually about 7 or a little less. I think she
made adequate amounts of insulin, because Actose and metformin helped
her control blood sugar adequately.
