So, I had a hysterectomy two weeks ago (due to cancer).
Good news: pathology report was negative for any spread to lymph
nodes or anywhere else, so the surgery was more than likely a cure
for the cancer. No chemo or radiation. (woohoo!)

Thank you everybody.  Reading the discussions on this support group
has done it.  It took a year to get from 7.2 to 6.8.  After reading
what people were saying here I went to an endocrinologist and in just
3 months I'm down to 5.7.

My doctor has placed me on 20 units of Humulin R at each meal; 50 units of
Humulin 70/30 twice daily (morning and evening).  Seems like alot to me.
I also take 1000 mg Metformin twice a day.
My sugar levels are routinely in the upper 200's and into the 300's

ive been living with diabetes since i was diagnosed at the age of
19,and im now 38,soon to be 39 in a few months.the one thing,that
truely bothers me is,the extreme foot and leg cramps i get in the
