So, I had a hysterectomy two weeks ago (due to cancer). Good news: pathology report was negative for any spread to lymph nodes or anywhere else, so the surgery was more than likely a cure for the cancer. No chemo or radiation. (woohoo!)

I have had this breakfast many times and each time I like it more. While fresh and raw is better, this works fine for me. 3/4 of a cup of fozen blue berries. 2 whole grain rye crackers.

Thank you everybody. Reading the discussions on this support group has done it. It took a year to get from 7.2 to 6.8. After reading what people were saying here I went to an endocrinologist and in just 3 months I'm down to 5.7.

My doctor has placed me on 20 units of Humulin R at each meal; 50 units of Humulin 70/30 twice daily (morning and evening). Seems like alot to me. I also take 1000 mg Metformin twice a day. My sugar levels are routinely in the upper 200's and into the 300's
