When I was a girl living with my mother, we always ate traditional
Japanese food for New Year and for several days after. Mom had planned
to spend the holidays with us but the storms in Denver forced her to
stay at home. It was just me and DH for the New Year breakfast.

Hi all.  I am getting ready to add Actos to my regimen of 2000mg of
Metformin.  Any advice as to when to take it etc?  Right now i am
taking 1000mg of Metformin with Breakfast and the other 1000mg at
dinner.  I am contolling my bg levels pretty well with just the

Meals are fine but I seem to have a continuing problem finding sources
of protein without a lot of fat for my snacks.  I'm getting really,
really tired of fish.  What do you do?

I have Gastroparesis and took 4 Propulsid every day until it was
pulled.
Now the doc wants me to start Erythromycin.  He didn't tell me how many
to take per day and they are 250mg's.

Originally I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes 2 years ago and
since the birth have been diagnosed with type 1.5.  Doc said my bgs
were too high to be type 2!!!! but no signs of having antibodies that
would indicate being type 1.

Itchy skin is listed as a diabetic symptom.   Does the itchiness vary with
either blood glucose levels or insulin levels?

Does adding fiber supplement like Metamucil and then subtracting that
amt of fiber from your total (e.g. Progresso Chicken Noodle, tot carbs
24 in a can) -- would this be a good way to reduce net carbs w/o
altering diet too much? forgive me if this is a naive question. I

has the sensor plus the pump.
Has anyone had any experience with it?
How about regular Medtronic pumps?
