I am sorry to be a pain again :-(
I had a voice mail from my endo's office and she said that people with
recurrent UTI 's or Kidney infections should go to the primary care.
I am confused because she flat out told me that I am getting them on a

I'm Type-2, and, been taking Metformin, 2000 mg timed-release, for 8 years,
but, lately, it doesn't seem to be working.
At one time, I had taken Amaryl additionally, and, it seemed to work well,
but, now my doctor wants me to use Actos, but, I'm worried about the edema

My Doc measured my blood oxygen 93%, said: Bit low!
My Blood pressure 140/90.
Diabetes (I'm T2) cause low oxygen level?
I do experience shortness of breath and no energy some times!

The doctor had prescribed Metformin - 500
thrice daily for my father ie after every meal . The earlier
dosage was twice daily
I am looking for some one with  a similar dosage

I did post this to the food NG but have gotten no response there as yet.
Has anyone tried this?  It's high in fiber and low in carbs.
I bought a cookbook for using it but most of the recipes require a lot of
eggs.  Given our egg allergies, I won't be trying any of the cakes or ...
