Tingling Feet Question16 Dec 2006 20:26 GMT12
Hi all.   I was just diagnosed 2 weeks ago. Prior to that my left foot
every once in a while would tingle, like it was asleep.  I just figured
I was sitting wrong etc.  Now after starting to read Gretchen's book
that it is a sympton of Neuro.... (cant remember how to spell it. :) )

Worse than Outrageous16 Dec 2006 15:47 GMT86
Went to the Walmart optometrist this morning for the annual eyeball
review.  Needed new lenses.  Since the existing glasses weigh as much
as a bowling ball on my nose, new frames would be beneficial.  Look at
the cost -

Hey all, hope you are all well...
Does anyone else here have the luxury of having both type 1 and ceoliacs
disease? My son does and it makes it tough for  menu ideas. I have a good
dietitian, but my son is so sick of the same food all the time...

even sure how to navigate this group. :).  Any advice for a newcomer?
OGTT for someone with normal FBG and "diabetic" symptoms15 Dec 2006 20:59 GMT7
I read a paper [*] - see Table 4 in particular - that suggests that
lean people without a diagnosis of diabetes are more likely to get a
positive result on an OGTT than on a FBG test, and that for overweight
people it's the other way around.
A bit perplexed15 Dec 2006 15:10 GMT15
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes one year ago. I am 40 years old,
6'1 and at the time I was diagnosed, I weighed 220 pounds. Today I
weigh around 180 pounds. While I did not intentionally lose any weight,
I just adhered to my physicians diet instructions and the pounds fell
