"The NHS could save at least £85m a year through more efficient prescribing
of statins, drugs which lower cholesterol, the government says.
The health service spends about £600m a year on the drugs.

I try to do heavy useful physical work as I can.

I am about 5 months in (Diagnosed in late July with type 2 - had a BG
of 32 which is now averaging about 12 morning and evening and
sometimes dropping to 5 during the day). I am currently on 200mg
Metformin prolonged release (1/2 in morning 1/2 in evening), 30mg

I will not be alive to see any answers.  It takes many years to get
an objective evaluation of any issue.
As I find out more,  I find some of our heros were very despicable
people.

So, I'm a reasonably intelligent woman, practicing as a registered
nurse for 30+ years.  I have  good knowledge of how to eat properly and
exercise to keep my Type 2 diabetes in control. WHY DON'T I DO IT,

episodes of painless hematuria - no other symptoms.
