| Poison Ivy on Foot | 08 Oct 2006 06:12 GMT | 18 |
I have no idea how, but I have poison ivy on the bottom of my 2nd and 3rd toes. It blistered and the blisters tore almost immediately, leaving multiple weeping patches of raw skin. Between not walking (doesn't seem a good idea with major open sores) and the itching, I'm

I still haven't gotten my labs back but he had them in his hand and he is mailing them to me. My A1c was down by .1 so that's good, I suppose. He didn't mention any other problems so I will have to wait and see how they came out. He is sending me prescription for another diuretic ...

| Thanks Everyone | 08 Oct 2006 04:04 GMT | 1 |
Thanks for all the good wishes. This is a pretty rugged cold I'm having. I usually have a hard time in the Fall with allergies. This cold is running in conjunction with it. If the weather ever decides what it's going to do, I will feel MUCH better. Last week we were

| The Magic of Music | 08 Oct 2006 03:54 GMT | 9 |
I defy anyone to be downcast when listening to "Heart and Soul" by the Cleftones, and strangely enough..."Old Hippie", and "Kids of the Baby Boom" by the Bellamy Brothers. Now, those are some good tunes, especially with a little brandy in my coffee Will. ;-) Hoping all of you

| What do YOU do about religious fasts? | 07 Oct 2006 18:31 GMT | 120 |
When I was first diagnosed with T2 7 years ago, I asked my Rabbi about fasting. His response was that it is forbidden for diabetics (and those with other illnesses) to fast on Yom Kippur. My accomodation to that is to eat small frequent plain meals throughout the day, designed

I went to my 3 month appointment today. She asked me if I would like to go on Byetta. She proceeded to tell me all about it and the benifits. She was very suprised that I already knew so much about it. Thanks ASD for keeping me informed.

Hi, folks. My family just moved to England, for my wife to attend graduate school here, so I thought I should visit this newsgroup now that I've gotten British Telecom to finally hook us up. (Don't get me started on them!)
