i am a newly diagonosed diabetic(type1) and am looking for a bum bag to
carry all my diabetic stuff(2 insulin pens, needles and glucose meter+mobile
phone) in while out. problem is i cant find one locally as my waist is too
big(50 inch) if anybody knows where i can buy one of ...

Hi....
  I was on Humulin N and Humulin R for 20 years.... now I've switched to
Humalog-Lantus which seems to be the latest "hot setup" for insulin
therapy..

saw a poster from Diabetes UK encouraging people to get tested for
diabetes if their waist size exceeded a certain number (looked like

I just got back the report from my latest blood test and my a1c is
5.4!! I must be doing something right despite some of the high bgs
after certain dinners. I guess those high numbers don't stay up long
enough to count against me in the long run. I am still experimenting

Hi, I'm new to this group, but I think you might be interested in what
I have to say.  I am type 1 diabetic and was diagnosed in June of 2000.
I take two different types of insulin, plus oral medication.  I come

of 5.5. At least a little bit of payoff from switching to Lantus +
Humalog and tuning it for a number of months!
