I am pregnant and went to the OB this morning. He got the results of the tests taken last week by my endo. My A1c went up from 5.6 to 6.2. He was not happy about that and neither was I. I should have seen it coming, I have been having a lot of trouble controlling my BG's.

I occasionally post here about "Extreme" numbers that come up with my bg's. (Where extreme = 35 in a bad hypo, or 500 when I have the flu.) But sometimes really everything works just great. Looking at my numbers for the last four days, only one mild hypo (59), the highest number is

All of my dad's family including my dad have diabetes. Most of them are overweight. I am 35, 6 feet tall and 177 lbs. I am 15% bodyfat. I try to run during the summer 4-5 days a week.
