I just read the ingredients for the byetta. I have company for a few days so I cant start while she is here, I want to know why there is mannitol in the byetta. Does it cause diarrhea. I know I react poorly to sugar alcohols. We are not drinking it, why do they need to sweeten

I have been on insulin for more years than I'd care to disgust. One thing which makes me curious is the fact that there is not a generic insulin available on the market? I am curious as to why?
