This is a 'good news/bad news' lab result.  A1c was 7.2.  glucose was @ 151.
Good news is....
triglycerides - 129
cholesterol    - 163  (hdl -65/ldl72)

Just for the record, has anyone any experience with how various
ales/beers affect blood sugar?  I know that all beers have a certain
level of residual sugar, with real ale being generally more than say
lager, but I have noticed quite a difference.

Until last week, my mother (age 78, type 2) was taking insulin 3x per

flu shot shortage.  The CDC figures that close to 218 million Americans
