The copy of the lab report that I got from my doctor says that my glucose level is slightly above the normal range. Could this be a sign of impending diabetes? Where can I get more --and trustworthy-- information on glucose and how to keep it in check? I haven't yet had a chance ...

I'm in the process of switching from NPH+R to Lantus+Apidra and am trying to determine my insulin to carb ratio. I'm noticing the ratio seems to be different at breakfast than later in the day. Am I crazy or is this fairly common?
