Where do you dispose of used syringes. Wife is type 2, just started on
insulin. I am an ex sanitation worker. I used to empty garbage cans
into the refuse truck door to door, working for the city.  I can't
tell you how many fellow workers got stabbed by used hypos.

I heard a biologist mention in passing that there is
some new research exists that says that trans fat (TFA)
somehow reduces the size of the heart, or deteriorates it.
Does anyone know who did that research?

Last night i have myself a bit of a treat.

Raviolis = about 12 - about 105gms carbs - that is much more than i thought

My doc just perscribed Glipizide XL for me.  But, I'm a type 1?  Why?
I'm not in bad control.  Usually around 7 on the H1C readings.  Lately I've had
issues due to work stress, which gave me a 7.6 H1C, but should be able to get
it down easily.  I've been a type 1 for almost 40 ...

Apparently the latest fad.
They had some freebies in the organic shop so I tried them.
If you're accustomed to picking other folks' chewing gum off the
sidewalk and popping it in your mouth, I just *know* you'll like them.
