| Sock Puppet *Stupidity* | 13 Aug 2006 08:41 GMT | 19 |
As with much conspiracy theory, Occam's Razor is not applied by any of the protagonists. The probable truth is that every apparently individual poster is *actually* an individual poster. I haven't read (bothered to read) any posts suggesting anyone has used aliases to fool others ...

| Need Pottasium/Electrolytes (not Gatorade) | 13 Aug 2006 04:10 GMT | 15 |
I'm having leg cramps and heart palpitations. Shouldn't drink Gatorade because of Type II but out of desperation, I tried it one day. No leg cramps or heart palpitations that night. I've tested it many time. The ingredients in Gatorade is what I'm lacking. Taking a potassium ...

| Summertime and the Eating is Easy | 12 Aug 2006 23:56 GMT | 1 |
Here in LA, the markets are bursting with summer's best. Personally I'm having a summer fling with arugula... can't get enought! There's so many great green markets all over the city. I go to the one in Hollywood and Ivar... so if you see someone overloaded with arugula,

| No Added Sugar! | 12 Aug 2006 23:12 GMT | 100 |
While waiting to pick up my latest prescription, I noticed a box of Omega-3 suppliment for kids - it was described as Omega-3 in Natural Honey with "no added sugar"! Great - give me 10 bottles if it's got no sugar in it! Do they think we're all thick? Or just find enough ...

| I'm not doing well (understatement) | 12 Aug 2006 19:58 GMT | 50 |
I think part of the reason I haven't been participating and have definitely been avoiding my friends (Kate especially, who really is very dear to me), is that I'm a mess. A1C's are beyond 13, and despite medications and insulin (metformin 1500, Lantus 70, Humalog

| Slow insulin? | 12 Aug 2006 14:39 GMT | 12 |
My pre meal Humalog insulin appears to be slowing down. I say this because previously I would test below 140 at 1 hour, below 120 at 2 hours and 102 at 3 hours (averages). Recently, with the same meals, I test 160 at 1 hour, 140 at 2 hours, 121 at 3 hours and 100 at 4 hours.

I am new to diabetes and was wondering if any one might be able to answer some questions about my diagnosis for me. I was diagnosed type 2 last month and since then have been reading everything I can find about diabetes. Something I saw over and over again concerning

| Emphasizing Jennifer's Essentials | 12 Aug 2006 01:58 GMT | 1 |
I first heard this advice years and years ago from Jennifer. It still holds true today. The other diabetic advice staple is Old Al's insulin primer (anyone have that?). YMMV (your mileage may vary) is the wisest catchphrase anywhere. I also think that Rick Mendosa's website is ...
