cute quack story...23 Jul 2006 12:32 GMT4
I last saw my GP mid-June.  My numbers were good, except my
triglycerides had gone up to around 170, and my LDL was over 100.  My
A1c was under 6 (I don't remember exactly where).  My fbg was a touch
over 100.
I think I've waited too long?23 Jul 2006 08:01 GMT9
I don't know why I've waited so long to take care of this problem. I've know
about it for at least two, maybe three years. I've been testing my BG and

to see a doctor. Plus, it's expensive to get strips. ...

blood sugar.  I did a google search, and I found a lot of places
selling cinnamon pills.  Is there a scientific/medical verdict on this
yet?

I have mixed emotions about this area.
One computer buddy had it and became
fit and trim.  The only problem is he was
good  looking and ended up married.

Good site for test strips22 Jul 2006 17:20 GMT1
I've been researching deals on meters, the cheapest place to buy test
strips, etc.  I've seen hocks.com mentioned several times, but I haven't
seen the place where I found my strips.  I've had a lot of luck with
www.americandiabeteswholesale.com.  I can get 100 Freestyle strips ...

Some politicians would have us believe there is no such thing in healthcare.
Well, Nicky has great difficulty in getting test strips, but this afternoon
my DSN asked me "Are you sure you test often enough?"
BTW, 3 months ago my HbA1c was 8.7%, now it is 7.1%.
