I was told my blood glucose was high on 4th July when in hospital for
surgery - my doctor has prescribed me Metformin tablets and I am
trying to eat sensibly. I have had a monitor for 2 days and am
currently taking readings about 5 times a dayand they appear all over

The doctor has changed my father's medications.
Previously he was taking Glimepiride 2 mg twice a
day. Now he is taking Glyburide (Glibencamide) 5 mg
twice a day.

Over the years I have noted that when I am short on
insulin I get very hungry.   I suspect this is normal.

My "no smoking" progress so far. I want to murder people who piss me
off, and it doesn't take much. The last two days have been worse than
the first 3. There is light at the end of the tunnel though.....I
hope.

They have serve so many well.  We have has all types of people

I recently had to be removed from taking Lasix(due to fluid build-up)
because I started to loose my balance - my heart doctor put me on
Bumex(0.5mg) once/day - I take it in the am before breakfast but have
noticed that my glucose readings after breakfast fall around 280 to 310,

Two weeks ago I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy.  I had these done
because I have been having episodes of diarrhea on and off for the past
six months, it all started when my GP gave me a "Z pack" antibiotic for
an infection.
