My wife's most recent blood count was 200. I don't know if this is serious because she doesn't like to talk about her diabetes. I guess she doesn't want to worry me. She did say her doctor increased her dosage of insulin though. Should i be concerned?

I'm still not sure I understand FBG. If I measure BG first thing after waking, it is consistently around 5.3-5.6mmol. If I miss a meal during the day even if I'm just sitting quietly at the keyboard it falls to around 4.2mmol. Which of these is the

I got my first FBG result this moirning with my new meter. The result was 116 mg/dl. So whether I am or not, I guess it's close. The alt.support.diabetes site says it's 110.
