While at the GP today, I asked if he had another bottle of Humalog since mine is almost empty. The nurse went and got one. I noticed that the box was at room temperature. Apparently it was not refrigerated. I thought that Humalog was supposed to be refrigerated.

Has anyone had experience with Long's meters? I am a long-time diabetic and had never heard of one until my adult son bought one. The strips are much less expensive than those for name brand meters, but the procedure for testing seems bizarre to me.

I'm a Type 1 on Novo Nordisk Pork 30/70 Mixtard. I've got the word on the discontinuation of Novo's animal insulins. Fine. I am now having trouble getting my prescription changed to something else (specifically the equivalent Wockhardt pork insulin).
