Accu-Chek06 Jun 2006 08:41 GMT10
My Accu-Chek has died to be replaced by something else.
I therefore have 12 boxes of test strips - Advantage II (50 in each) -
which I have no use for. Also 200 lancets.
If anyone needs these I'll happily post provided you pay the delivery
Meter test with homebrewed standards, and a goodbye06 Jun 2006 06:11 GMT29
My darling hubby (a chemist) surprised me tonight when I got home from

In them were standards he made out of lab-grade dextrose (not tablets)
and distilled deionized water.

serving.  Many diabetics have confirmed that it spikes more like 5

Xylitol05 Jun 2006 17:22 GMT6
May I suggest a sweetener less known, called Xylitol? It's available at
health stores. It tastes like sugar, cooks like sugar, and has been shown to
not affect blood sugar levels, and has been shown to actually aid in

What we say about religion on topic today05 Jun 2006 15:38 GMT12

religion even when I have my doubts.
I would hate to face my fate if I WERE WRONG."

Switching pumps05 Jun 2006 15:36 GMT6

replaced the pump three times in four years), incorrect shipments from
Medtronic, failures of infusion sets (the Quikset Plus), etc.
