My shredded wheat says it has 37 carbs. Further down the list it says "other carbs 31. Sounds to me like 68 carbs per serving. Why the trickery? I just stopped eating it. I don't eat tricky foods.

Because of elevated blood pressure (already taking medicine) and a higher than desired pulse, my doctor considered prescribing a beta blocker. The down side is that it could "mask" hypoglycemia. I've never seen a BG under 70, and that had no symptoms, so we decided to go with it.
