| Fast acting insulin tablet? | 13 Jun 2006 07:38 GMT | 15 |
I read this in the paper yesterday from Annie's Mailbox, and wonder what it means? Is there such a thing as a "fast acting insulin tablet?" I've never heard of it if there is, but maybe someone else has. I'm curious. --

| A Cure For Diabetes? Which One? | 12 Jun 2006 12:44 GMT | 8 |
I always wonder when I hear the term "cure for diabetes". The thought that always pops into my head is "Which one?". Seriously, think about it for a minute. Any "cure" for diabetes is probably not going to be for every diabetic. A cure for type 1 will most likely

| Rant of the day | 12 Jun 2006 11:28 GMT | 4 |
Back in February this year, I went to Ashford & St Peter's (ASP) for my 6 monthly check. Reasonably happy, slowly losing weight, Fasting BGs generally 4.5-5.5, PP (2hr) generally in range 5.5-6.5. They "forgot" to do a HbA1c. (grrr) I made a next appointment for 24/08/06.
