meter. I'm diabetic, and she had gestational Diabetes, so I was
concerned. Her meter readings were not great:
Often, after eating moderate (under 30) carb meal, she would hit the
Save / Fix, whatever you want to call it...16 Jun 2006 02:40 GMT9
Any ideas on how to Save / Fix the FDA?

1) lets Big Pharma keep dangerous meds on the market

Byetta like drugs in the news16 Jun 2006 02:13 GMT5
Byetta mimics glp-1 a hormone which is produced by nutrition entering the
gut and is involved in insulin production.  Usually glp-1 is broken down
by
dpp-iv which is always in the body, byetta          is resistant to this

hot water into the soup, mix well then pour off a cup of liquid down the
drain. Works good and still tastes ok. To remove more salt, do it ...

Some days bring better news than others15 Jun 2006 17:14 GMT5
Last Thursday was to have been my appointment for my follow-up from my last lithotripsy/bladder
neuro testing/x-rays, but being in x-ray too long put me in conflict with my doctor who had a

visit with endo14 Jun 2006 23:35 GMT11
Went in for my one-month follow-up with the endo today, and I was
happy.  A1c went from 11.3 to 9.2 and my weight was down 15 pounds.
Yeah, being in the 9s is not exactly tip-top shape but I'll take it
over 11s!  Blood pressure too is much better (I'm taking Lisinopril

pp testing time.14 Jun 2006 19:27 GMT3
I read today, in my weekly Diabetes in Control news letter, that a new
study reporte4d on at the current ADA conference has found that most type
2's peak in bg numbers at 72-74 mins after eting so these should be a
rethinking of the 2 hr pp test.   I know averages are averages ...
