Had my Sunday AM weigh-in (figured it's a good day to do it as I'm
generally praying I lost weight :lol: ).  I'm down 50 lbs as of
yesterday AM, since Valentines Day (the official start of the "P-3" -
the Pancreas Preservation Project).

My annual physical reported my glucose was 120mg/dL after fasting which was
outside the range of 65-110.  I am 73 years old.
My recent desire for sweets and cheap carbs probably contributed to this.
Previous 4 years tests reported between 95 and 106.

I spent my birthday down at the Spoleto festival in Charleston, SC.  It was
HOT!
I did a lot of walking...wearing sandals!  I know, I know....I ware these
most days in the summer, but not really for walking.

10 units lantus at 9pm daily......first time using humalog......level
was 174 before the very first shot ever of humalog 2 units......ate
within 15 mins......1 rib with barbq sauce a few veggies.....level was

My name is Sarah and I live in MI. I am new to the group. I am 17 going
to be 18 in about 1 week actually. I am graduating from high school
tommorow ( Saturday the 27th) . I was Dx'ed when I was 16 and I was in

food supplement that claimed that it increased insulin sensitivity.  It
said that it increased insulin sensitivity so that you could absorb
more energy into your body for pumping iron.
