This is obviously a small sample, and clearly other factors could be involved, but 7.2 reduced to 5.7???? Can anyone think of a reason why this could be an accurate finding, or have you seen any other research to back this up?

Last week the meter numbers were unbelievably good - 70s and 80s, even in the 80s after eating (I'm very low carb). The highest # I got off it after the giant nasty burger (no bun) at Friendlies on Friday was 85. This weekend everything changed. I couldn't get a number under 100 to

About an hour ago I tested my blood sugar and it was 167. I then took my metformin, which I usually do anyway before I eat my meal (I took it with a bit of milk), and just now my blood sugar was 128. That's quite a drop. Did the metformin do that? Or is it possible for the ...
