Peanuts - Careful !!!17 May 2006 02:34 GMT10
Peanuts have the peculiar ability to have little effect upon blood sugar

after ingestion increase blood sugars.

When I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago, I was sent home with a photocopied
diet sheet, with no quantities on it and told to drink 10 pints of
water a day.
I just ate salads and slices of wholemeal bread, which I quite like.

Today my doctor told me...16 May 2006 16:26 GMT25
she couldn't have asked for better results.  My urine test showed no

hadn't seen anyone get their BG numbers down so quickly following a
diagnosis of diabetes and wanted to know what I had been doing.  I

I thought I would bite the bullet and inform DVLA of my diagnoses with Type

After having been told by everyone that I must inform DVLA I ...
