PING MACK20 Apr 2006 17:29 GMT8
Mack, can you tell what service Chung is posting from/through.  It
looks like a commercial News provider although I don't see them
supplying one person.  I'm not up to speed enough to determine the
ISP.

Local pre-diabetic study20 Apr 2006 13:46 GMT9
I had to stop in at my Endo's office today and while I was waiting

Complacency20 Apr 2006 03:28 GMT164
When my stepfather was diagnosed with Type II many years ago and told me he
was on oral meds, I remember thinking, "Oh, he's just got a mild case."   I
don't ever recall his testing himself or talking about it. He wasn't
overweight, but he continued eating his favorite foods, ice ...

.. or anyone who may know.
I have spoken of my friend, an indigenous Australian. She
has type 2 diabetes and has the skinny arms and legs typical
of her race. Her weight is around the middle right up to her

Atkins Research Results20 Apr 2006 00:08 GMT20
Doing a Google on "Atkins and Cholesterol", I waded through several
pages of stories.  While there seem to be some semi-serious studies on
the subject, virtually all of them say "more research is necessary".
Consequently, the conclusion that Atkins will improve your HDL or
Annuities19 Apr 2006 23:19 GMT1
I've been catching up on my clippings service. Towards the beginning of this
month sometime, the Torygraph did an interesting article on how much dosh
you get when you buy an annuity, and declare a good reason for a shorter
life expectancy at the same time. Apparently diabetes ...

I've always been on the large side but a few years ago I was confined to a
wheelchair for a while following a nasty car accident in the US and really
piled on the pounds.
Good news from my ophthalmologist19 Apr 2006 23:06 GMT7
Had my appointment today and was told everything was fine.
I specifically asked about my many floaters, but the doctor told me that
they are most definitely a common thing for people of my age--with and
without diabetes--and that he himself has them, and though they are

I ran across this recipe while looking for something to do with a large

sorbet after dinner so I can't say for sure what drove the ...
