Beef Jerky12 Apr 2006 14:33 GMT23
Have been snacking on beef jerky the last few months. Is great stuff, low in
fat, low in carbs, high in protein and damn tasty. Imagine beef flavoured
chewing gum and you get an idea.
Anyone know where I can get it in the UK? Have only seen it in one motorway
Interesting development in my blood sugar levels today12 Apr 2006 04:41 GMT17
I had an interesting experience today.  As part of my continuing
experiments to see what suits me, and towards determining the limits in
within which I can eat, I had half a chicken at swiss chalet with
fries, and a bun.  I had one iced tea that was sweet.

dry foot11 Apr 2006 22:26 GMT19
My basement stairs have a winder at the bottom and is tucked into a corner
of the basement.  Going down stairs, my bare foot slid off the step and
dived feet first into the concrete wall.  Scared me because I thought I
broke something.  Except for a skinned up lag and two toes ...

Today we got one hell of a deal on some soy based Darielle pasta by
Mezze Penne.  The pkg says it has 1/4 the net carbs of ordinary pasta.
The ingredients are Defatted soy flour, pasteurized egg white, rice

be inspired to take control of their disease!

many new recipes tested and written up. So I'm playing catch-up for a bit.
I just posted a recipe for "Veggie Browns" on A.F.D. and at:

G'day G'day Folks,
So far the book has about nine chapters.  Strangely perhaps there
isn't one about diabetes or the role that ASD has played in shaping my
ideas.  Most chapters have been written because someone somewhere said
