Hello, all, After 5 or so years on 10mg of Atorvastatin, my GP tells me that I need to change to 40mg of Simvastatin, as it "saves the PCT £30 a month".

I was diagnosed as being a type 2 diabetic about 6 months ago and have been trying to control it by diet alone but I've now been put on "Metaformin". Has anyone in the group ever tried the Atkins Diet or heard of anyone who has. It's said to be a better way of controlling diabetes ...
