Hi Group I'm a Type 1 and have had many Lab A1C tests done, but always drawn when I had Lipid panels and Fast BG tests.etc. Now my Doc in 3 months just wants a Single A1C done only and I hear Pro's

We attended a class on specialty sauces recently. We did several variations of Beurre Blanc as one of the sauces. It's a basic wine-butter sauce that lends itself to numerous variations. It's also very low-carb.

I live in a very small town (3300 pop.) in quite a rural area and even the supermarkets here don't stock things like low carb breads. Last year, during the height of the Atkins diet "fad" it seemed like every aisle was full of it, but no longer.

I am a T2, trying to control his bg with a low carb diet. I understand that raw veggies are acceptable. Although they do have good quantities of carbs, they digest slowly and will therefore not result in a spike, like sugar or starch.
