Upcoming GTT15 Mar 2006 05:49 GMT21
I am a low carber.  I have a GTT coming up in a week or so.
If I go into the GTT in my usual low carb state, will my response to the
glucose be better or worse than if I carb up beforehand?
I ask because I want to avoid a formal diagnosis of diabetes, if I can.

I just had a blood test today at a ab.  Right afterward I used my meter to
get the glucose results as well.  Next week I will get the results of the
real lab test.  What should I expect?  How close is the result of a lab test
to the "meter at home" test?
