How do I get FBG down? I am usually about 120 but can be as high as 160 if I wake later on the week-ends. The only thing that has worked for me is getting up at 4:00 am and taking my meds and eating something, but that is getting old fast.

I wanted to ask about the post meal bg numbers. If I want to test 2 hours after a meal (say breakfast) I should not be having anything in between - is that correct ? And that includes coffee with cream/sugar

I don't understand what a mild case of Diabetes is. I always thought there is no such thing.It's almost like saying someone is a little pregant. Is my doctor competent after this diagnosis?
