Eye check bus?19 Mar 2006 02:14 GMT14
Got a letter from my optician this morning, saying he's not allowed to do
free retinopathy checks any more, and there will be, at some unspecified

Next the Iraq war will be blamed on this beverage.
I well remember all health problems being blamed on

Running and Neuropathy ???18 Mar 2006 23:08 GMT4
I did a search on this topic and there seems to be disagreement.  I am

article.

So...what's my problem you ask???  I have no energy.  I seem to be
Downside of weight loss18 Mar 2006 16:11 GMT20
This 49 pound weight loss has definitely improved my health, but some
friends have intimated that I've lost too much weight. The truth is that
I'm well within the normal range for my height and I've got a healthy BMI.
What has happened is that my face just doesn't look as good as ...

Joslin on Diet18 Mar 2006 08:35 GMT14
This has probably been posted before - I've forgotten.
For those looking for a different (and, IMO, better) view on
diet by a major diabetes authority, this was published by
Joslin in Time magazine last November. I didn't read the

Great News! Additional Diabtes Newsgroup To Form!18 Mar 2006 04:49 GMT3
In the near future, if we are lucky we will see a new diabetes news group:
alt.support.diabetes.argument.clinic
If we're lucky, all of the a-holes here who like to do nothing but argue and
disagree for no reason other than to see themselves talk, er, I mean try to

saying that this is the BG when you get up in the morning.  Please clarify
this for me.

I've been experimenting with eating bits of Turmeric whenever I'm in the
kitchen.
But for the past day my tinnitus has been whole lot worse to the point
